Funko Pop • Charmander

When my brother text me a few weeks ago to tell me his friend was selling a Charmander and Bulbasaur Funko Pop, I couldn’t text him back quick enough. My little fingers were on fire as I snapped up the little guys. I have been after these little monsters for ages and have been waiting for them to appear in the UK, but just haven’t managed to find them yet. I absolutely love the fact that they do Pokémon Funko’s now, if there was a collection perfect for me, it is definitely this one.

Charmander is just the cutest little thing. Funko couldn’t have made him look more perfect at all. I mean, look at his ickle face, it’s just full of love and joy. He is a tiny bit smaller than most of the Pops, but that just adds to his cuteness. They have captured his little expression and positioned him perfectly too. Can you tell I’m in love?

I always found it so hard to choose a starter Pokémon when I was younger, Squirtle was always my go to buddy, but I would stop him from evolving because I didn’t like the Wartortle or Blastoise as much lol. I know, I know I was the irritating type of player ha! Bulbasaur was my least favourite, but since I have got older he has grown on me big time. Charmander was the only one where I love all 3 evolutions. I mean Charmie is just the cutest little guy, Charmeleon was a sassy little thing and Charizard is just the king. I still try and get Charizard as soon as I can when I play now too, so some things never change.

I had a feeling that Funko and Pokémon would team up a little while ago, but when I told Lewis he didn’t think it was going to happen. I must have a sixth sense for these things though. I am just waiting for a Meowth Pop to be released next and my life will be complete. ❤
