Canni Gel Polish in shade 067

As much as I love a full on in your face sparkly nail, sometimes I like to tone it back and just pick a simple shade with no glitz at all. This is how I was feeling on my last polish evening, so I picked this lovely purple shade that I recently added to my collection. I was looking through eBay for new polishes a few weeks ago and found some lovely shades from a brand called Canni. Being completely honest with you, when it comes to gel polishes I don’t really know a lot about the brands. I just like to try them out and see if they work and if they do, brilliant, if they don’t, I know not to use them again. I have found with gel polishes a lot of the staying power depends on the Base or Top Coat over the actual colour.

I picked Canni shade 067 to use and it is just so, so lovely, it’s a super creamy blue toned lilac and I am totally in love with it. I am such a fan of pastel shades and this one ticks all the boxes for me. I find this type of colour perfect for this time of year too, it’s like the sun and pastel shades were made to go together. I do like how this shade is exactly the same colour as the bottle too, it makes matching colours so much easier as most of my other gel polishes are in black bottles, so you end up having no idea what’s inside.

This polish lasted just over a week on me before it started to lift. I prefer my gels to last around 2 weeks, but I have just changed to a new Top and Base Coat which annoyingly doesn’t seem to be working as well as my previous one. I think it may be down to that more than this polish itself. This shade was on offer when I bought it, so I couldn’t resist picking up 2 other shades at the same time. I will try those out with a better Top/Base Coat and report back soon. Other than that I am completely in love. ❤

You can pick up this shade from the seller I used on eBay here.
