Monthly Roundup August 2019

Do you remember the 21st night of September?! Man I love that song and this is totally the best month to sing it in. I think I say this every month, but August really was a super quiet one filled with lots of love and family time. Although saying that this past week has been really busy, so at least I will have a lot to write about in my September round up! I have only just been able to sit down, snuggled up in a blanket and write a post. I go from one extreme to the other! Here are a few of my favourite things to happen in August though..

I finally managed to get my hands on a Charmander Funko Pop which I wrote about in my last post. I am still totally in love with him and he is sat pride of place on my shelf.

Me and Lewis finally took a nice selfie too. We always forget to take photos and I find myself going through my phone to find the last photo of us was months ago. Then it takes 7367647 attempts to get a good one, but we did it!

The cats are just being the cutest little bubbas as usual. They go absolutely everywhere together and Misty does a little noise that makes her sound like Mogwai which I just love. We got Meowth this little corn toy and she just loves it, she rolls around hugging it like this all the time. We also had a little visitor in the garden and Meowth and Misty weren’t very happy at all. They outstared the poor little black cat until he left, probably scarred for life.

I went out for the first time in AGES! I mean, obviously, I go outside but it’s usually to work lol. So I can’t remember the last time I went clubbing or proper drinking. It was a couple of my friends birthdays, so a night out was truly needed, although I was feeling it the next day. Violet Gin just tastes so good though.

It was my mum’s birthday in August too, so me and Lewis put ourselves on cake duty. We saw this shark cake in Asda and knew this was the one she needed straightaway. Who needs serious cakes anyway!

That’s my August all wrapped up, September is definitely going to be a busy one, so that was a true calm before the storm month! ❤
