When I saw that a Deadpool Venom Funko pop was being released as a Pop in a Box Exclusive, I knew I needed to have him straightaway. Not even just for my sake, but I knew that Lewis would be gutted if we didn’t get him. Luckily, I managed to get my pre-order in quickly and the evil little thing arrived just before I went on holiday.
Deadpool is one of Lewis’ favourite characters and Venom is one of my favourite villians, so this collab was right up our street. I love the detailing that runs through the body as if the Venom symbiote is taking over Deadpool, it’s a nice touch. Although Venom’s hand does creep me out slightly, I think I am used to cute little Disney Princess hands aha. The paintwork on him isn’t too shabby either. I feel as though Funko have really upped their game with paintwork in recent months.
We reaaaaaally need to get some shelves up so we can put him on display. We have the original Deadpool and Venom Funko’s so it will be nice to pop them all together.
