Monthly Roundup • September

Hello, hello, hello!

Firstly, lets all let out a big cheer as I finally have my laptop back! It was recalled by Apple for battery issues, but silly billy here never saw the email as my ID was a super old email address. Moral of that story, always make sure your contact info is up to date lol. It feels so good to be writing a post again, I’ve missed it lots!

Secondly, how are we all? It’s been a long time flipping in and out of restrictions etc. So how have we all been…really? I’m okay, just plodding along. I still don’t really go anywhere and if I do, I grab my mask and try to avoid busy times but other than that, it has been nice to get a change of scenery every now and again.

September for me was a bit of a funny month. Nothing major happened it was just a bit samey. I’m still having constant cuddles with the furbabies and loving the lilac hair too.

I did start a new Instagram though. I had been toying with the idea of splitting my ‘personal’ and my ‘blog’ instagram for a while now. As much as I liked having it altogether, there were always lines that became blurred. I created that account when I first joined Instagram, so there were people that followed who definitely had no interest in this blog. Equally, sharing personal photos then didn’t always seem right on a blog based account. Don’t even get me started on the constant bot followers and low engagement. It’s only been a month, but I honestly feel so much better on this new account and like I don’t have to hide myself anymore, silly I know. I managed to move my username eventually, so I am still @emmyypops and that is where you will find all of the geeky and beauty goodness now!
