Urban Decay Vice Lipstick • Backtalk

It feels like it has been such a long time since I did a proper Beauty post. I really need to get back on that, as I love writing about make up. I’m back at the stage where I do my make up and either forget to take photos or use something new before I have taken photos of it. Now I know I could still take a photo of an item after I have used it, but for me it doesn’t quite have the same effect as a product that is new. I did manage to get photo’s of Urban Decay ‘Backtalk’ lipstick before I used it though and as it is a welcome addition to my makeup collection, I thought I would show you how I feel about it.

Urban Decay are totally my go to brand for lipsticks, or any kind of makeup really. I have loved them ever since my mum bought an Eyeshadow from Boots yearrrrrrrs ago and she let me have a go. The love affair continued from then on really and hasn’t ever gone away. Backtalk is a lovely nude pink toned lipstick, which I find perfect for everyday wear. The shade itself applies pretty true to the colour it is in the bullet too, which I love so you know what you are getting.

The finish of Backtalk is Comfort Matte, which is described by Urban Decay as their creamiest Matte. I completely agree with this, as I have found this the comfiest finish yet. It has the colour power of a Matte lipstick, but it doesn’t dry my lips out at all like Matte finishes normally do.

This is the shade I always turn to at the moment. Backtalk goes with any type of makeup and finishes off a heavy look or a lighter makeup look perfectly. This lipstick lasts for hours before it even starts showing signs of fading too. Even when it does start, it fades to the loveliest colour so you don’t have to worry about constantly reapplying as soon as it starts to wear.

Backtalk is definitely one of my Top 5 favourite lipsticks in my collection and one that I know I will repurchase whenever it runs out. ❤
