Mål Paper Daily Goal Setter Planner

If you read this blog regularly, you will know that I love a good old bit of stationery. Especially if it is the kind that could potentially help me be a bit more organised with my life. When I was contacted by a company called Mål Paper to see if I would like to try out their new Daily Goal Setter*, being the stationery addict I am, I immediately said yes.

The Daily Goal Setter* is essentially a Bloggers best friend, with the aim to making life a bit more organised and helping to achieve goals. The planner itself comes with a hardback cover in a choice of a Pink, Grey or Black. I chose the Grey variety and I must say it is really well made. For someone that is always jotting things down in notebooks, I like them to be durable enough for me to pop in my bag and throw around, and this one does seem like it will last a while before looking worn.

The first few pages are full of hints and tips for the best way to use the planner. They break down how to set goals, review them and improve on them which is really helpful. After these pages, there are a few pages dedicated to setting out Short, Medium and Long Term goals. For someone like me this is great, as I always think by this time I want to [insert fun goal here] and then I forget what it is that I wanted to do, so now I have somewhere to actually jot it down, I might be a step closer to getting there.

Next in The Daily Goal Setter comes the ‘month review’ section, which is so helpful if you are somebody that likes to jot down stats or have an overview of the month and where you want it to go. As this whole planner is undated, you can start it at any point and not waste any pages. I like that this has sections for the most important tasks and you can review/rate the month at the end, which is handy if you like to look back and compare.

After the month review, the planner kicks in with the daily pages. This is what I had been waiting for! Each page starts with 3 things to be grateful for, which is a nice touch to start the day with a positive look. I think it can be so easy sometimes to forget the little things, so trying to think of these on daily basis will help to remind you of the simple things to be happy for. Next up is a daily affirmation and the book advises you to write a statement that you will repeat to yourself that you want to be true. Now I must admit I struggle with this one and can’t write anything that isn’t a joke, so I am hoping that writing ‘I am a millionaire’, ‘I am Iron Man’ and ‘I am a goddess’ will probably wear thin after a while but I am working on it. The next bulk of the page is made up of daily tasks that you want to complete. This one is quite self explanatory but the book suggests prioritising the tasks using the ABCDE method to make them more manageable. The page then ends with great things that happened to end the day off on a positive note and then you can rate the day too.

I like that all of the pages are undated, so if you miss a day or just want to use it on certain days of the week, you don’t end up with a chunk of the planner not being used. This planner itself has enough space for 6 months of usage, which is great as I think a year might be too bulky and 6 months is a good time to recap on all the goals created and then start again.

I am so pleased with this and I am hoping it helps my organisation out, you never know it might actually lead to me blogging to a schedule again! We won’t get too carried away though eh! ❤

Erm…thank you for introducing me to this planner?! It’s perfect. I love a good planner, and at the half year point I’m always looking for my new year planner (even though I’ve got about half a dozen unused ones…oops!). How are you getting on with it? It looks like it could be a really cool productivity tool if used consistently xx

I am the same! 6 months is perfect as it gives you time to switch it up too. I still love it and it seems to be helping me out lots!
