Oooo I realised I haven’t done a Five Little Things post in ages! The last one was back in April and the months have just flown by since. Now that Summer is finally here, I am starting to feel so much happier. The weather has such an effect on my mood and I feel like Winter has just been extended and my SAD hasn’t really gone away yet. Hopefully things are properly looking up now though. In light of my happier mood, it reminded me to think of the things I have been loving lately.
1 – Sunshine – I’ve already covered this one kinda, as sunshine is the one thing that is making me super happy lately. Give me all of that Vitamin D!
2 – Mint choc chip ice cream – This is my absolute favourite ice cream flavour ever. I must eat 400 of them throughout summer, and don’t get me started if I go away on holiday, it’s a ritual to have one each day.
3 – Gardening – I never thought I would say this, but gardening has been making me super happy lately. I love watching the flowers bloom, although the ones that we have planted seem to have been completely battered by the rain. I am hoping they aren’t completely destroyed though so I can appreciate all of the pretty colours.
4 – Leopard Print skirts – I am LOVING the leopard print skirt trend that is going around lately. I never thought leopard print would be very me, but a leopard print skirt and band tee seems to be my go to outfit at the moment.
5 – Urban Decay Heavy Metal Liners – I have always loved the Urban Decay Heavy Metal liners and have rediscovered my love for them. I picked up a new shade, which I will post about very soon and the sparkly goodness has made me realise how much I love them.
These are a few things that have been putting a smile on my face. What has been making you happy lately?
