I must apologise for the lateness with August’s Pop in a Box post. My pop arrived just before I went on holiday and I am hardly the most organised person in the world and can just about pack my suitcase on time, so I had no chance with writing a blog post too! Now we are here, let me tell you that last month’s pop does not disappoint at all!
The box was bigger than usual, so I was hoping that there was either going to be a double or a jumbo pop inside. Luckily for me it was a Super Sized Funko and I opened Treebeard from The Lord of the Rings. I have been in love with Treebeard since I saw the latest wave of LOTR Funko Pop’s announced. I loved Treebeard in the film and think he is one of the most underrated characters. I am so glad that he is super sized too, as it just makes perfect sense.
I recently watched The Lord of the Rings again and it brought back all of the feelings of love that I had when I first watched it. I remember both me and my brother absolutely loving it growing up, I think this was probably one of the only things we bonded over. He was never a massive fan of me, being a girl sibling I was obviously really boring to him, but when it came to The Lord of the Rings, we were besties aha!
Treebeard is probably one of the most detailed looking Funko Pop’s that I own. The texture on him is spot on, I just love him. He has such a kind looking face, I just smile whenever I look at him now.
I have had a notification that September’s Pop in a Box has been dispatched, so hopefully I shouldn’t run too late with that one. ❤
