Ahhh I hope you all had a lovely Christmas! I cant quite believe how quickly the last few festive days have gone by. I really wanted to get my Advent posts done before the big day, but I just didn’t have time. It was quite nice not to think about anything other than stuffing my face and watching Christmas films though, so I hope you guys don’t mind too much. This year’s calendar seems to have been opened scarily quickly, it has definitely been a blink and you will miss it kind of month.
Anyway, here are the last few doors of my Body Shop Deluxe Advent Calendar…
I know you have all probably opened your Advent Calendar’s by now, but just incase you haven’t, I am going to show you what I opened in the last few doors, so if you don’t want know what is inside boxes 17-25 *please don’t scroll down.*
Day 17 – Eyebrow and Lash Comb / Day 18 – Black Musk Body Lotion
I don’t know why, I always find these combs kinda pointless. Maybe I’m missing a trick somewhere, but I honestly never use them. On the other hand, I love the smell of this body lotion, it smells a bit sweeter than a ‘normal’ musk scent and has a slightly floral tone to it.
Day 19 – Gold Glitter / Day 20 – Mango Shower Gel
Golllld Glittttter! I was so pleased when I opened this, I do love me a bit of glitter. I will definitely be using this around New year (I forgot at Christmas, whoops!) This Mango Shower Gel really makes me think of exotic holidays, I love it. I know I will be popping it on when I am in need of a summery refresh.
Day 21 – Velvet Gel Pen Eyeliner / Day 22 – Almond Hand & Nail Manicure Cream
I am always on the hunt for a new eyeliner, so I am really looking forward to trying this one out. As you have probably guessed by now, I love a hand cream. I am looking forward to trying this one out, it has a slightly sweet smell to it.
Day 23 – Strawberry Born Lip / Day 24 – Almond Milk and Honey Body Butter
I really like the colour of this Born Lippy, but like I said before I am not a huge Strawberry fan, so will probably pass this one on. You can really smell the honey in this body butter, it smells really nice and I bet it is super moisturising, so I can’t wait to give it a go.
Day 25
Door Number 25 reveals a dice and set of instructions, as all of the boxes that have been opened so far can be used together to play a game. I haven’t played it yet, but I did have a go at a few of the questions as I was going along – not doing very well with the answers I might add.
I am really impressed with this year’s calendar, I feel like there is so much more variety than last year. I will definitely use pretty much all of the products and have homes for the few bits that I won’t use. You will probably see a lot of the products again on the blog in the next few months, as these are only first impressions they may pop up again more in-depth.
I hope you are having a nice Festive few days, I think I have eaten a whole tin of Quality Street over the last few days and I don’t even feel guilty!

After reading your posts on the calendar I’d be tempted to get The Body Shops calendar next year. You get some good products. I’ve never been tempted by these sort of calendars before but The Body Shop is somewhere I actually shop!
