Crabtree & Evelyn – Feast for the Senses Hand Therapy Cracker

Crabtree & Evelyn - Feast for the Senses Hand Therapy Cracker

The Festive season has well and truly caught up with me this year. I haven’t even had time to sit down and recap…until now. I love the festivities, but hate how quickly it passes by. Even New Year snuck by me really quickly. I set myself one goal for this year and that is to be happy and I think that’s a pretty good goal.

I was absolutely spoilt rotten this Christmas, my parents are absolute treasures. Every year my mum (my dad has no clue – my mum writes his name on the presents and he always asks me what it is whilst i’m opening it ha!) gets me a set of Hand Therapies from Crabtree & Evelyn and this year they didn’t disappoint.

As always with Crabtree & Evelyn, the packaging is perfect. The 3 creams come inside a cracker shaped box which has a lovely vintage feel to it. The patterns always remind me of my nan, which is why I think I love it so much. I was intrigued when I opened this, as the scents are really unusual sounding combinations.

All of the scents really surprised me. I wasn’t too sure that I would like them all, I’m a fussy old bean so was a bit unsure. But actually, I would happily use all of these and definitely repurchase 2 of them. Here are my thought on the scents:

Spiced Earl Grey – This is the one that I was most unsure of. When I saw Earl Grey, I immediately thought that my hands would constantly smell like I had been sieving through the tea jar. WRONG. There is a very subtle hint of tea, but the spice turns it more into a scent that I would happily wear. After a few minutes, this wears to a slight spicey smell and all traces of tea are gone.

Festive Fig – I LOVE THIS. Again, I didn’t really know how fig would smell but this has surprised me. The scent is very sweet and fruity – a bit like pomegranate. After a little while it fades to a nice warm berry smell.

Rose Pineapple – I knew that I was going to like this one when I first read the name. Two of my favourite things, combined! I couldn’t quite imagine what it would smell like, but it is AMAZING! You get parts of each main ingredient and it basically smells like a floral pineapple. The rose takes away the sharpness that pineapple sometimes has. This is my favourite of the 3 and perfect for Spring!

As I haven’t been using these for long, I can’t fully comment on how well they moisturise. Although I have been using Hand Therapies from Crabtree and Evelyn for years and they never disappoint. They even manage to put some softness in my hands and I have the driest hands ever!

I love little hand creams that come like this! I've seen this brand around but I haven't tried it yet. Also my hands are always dry and chapped with eczema and I find thicker hand creams that come like this help a lot (until my skin gets use to it and it stops working, bah)! The packaging on these are SO cute! I may have to write this down and look for it this holiday season!
