Roundup October 2021

Happy November!

In all honesty, I didn’t really do a lot this October. It’s just felt like a month of working and staying in, but I did enjoy the build up to Halloween for once. For the first time in ages I dedicated the whole month of October to spooky season. I had cute little pumpkins and bits out all month and it made everything feel so cosy and warm. I will definitely do this every year now. I obviously had nothing scary out, that’s not for me, but the cute sparkly pumpkins and things I am here for.

Since restarting my Instagram account, I have felt so much happier with my posts and I decided to have a go at doing a Halloween theme for the month. I really enjoyed it, but it was such hard work to keep everything to the same theme. I don’t know how people do it all of the time, but will definitely give it another go at Christmas.

I managed to track down some of the best Halloween bits in the shops. I feel like every year, the UK gets a little better with the items available. My best finds were the Halloween Stitch Funko and the Mickey plate from Asda. Although after 500 trips to Asda to get the stupid thing, I bloody smashed it a few days later. It is superglued back together now, but it is definitely looking a little worse for wear and I am gutted about it.

I hope you all had a lovely October and enjoyed Halloween if you did anything. Who would have thought it is only a few weeks until Christmas, I can’t quite believe it! I’m crossing everything that Christmas will be normal this year! I guess I really need to start Christmas shopping soon now too. ❤

I had a wonderful Halloween even though I did end up getting sick. I’m going to miss spooky season as I’m not a big fan of Christmas but I’m going to try to embrace the holiday season. ♥
