GLAMGLOW Gravitymud Firming Treatment – Sonic Blue

GLAMGLOW Gravitymud Firming Treatment - Sonic Blue

When I saw this Sonic Edition of Glamglow in Bicester Village a few months ago, I snapped it up straightaway. I had been after it for a little while and it was slightly discounted which made it even better. Not that I needed it, but it’s Sonic and it’s blue, so for once I managed to talk myself into buying something. You see, I love products like this, when brands work together and you get a cute little collaboration.

I absolutely love the colour of this mask, lets face it, that is mainly the reason I bought it…well and the super cute packaging. I would say it is slightly lighter than Sonic’s colour though, it’s a really nice metallic blue don’t get me wrong but definitely lighter than Sonic.

GLAMGLOW Gravitymud Firming Treatment - Sonic Blue review

I must admit, the tube is very small for the price, I know I got a little discount but even that couldn’t hide my disappointment of how much was actually inside. A lot of air came out of mine when I first squeezed it too, which was a little annoying. I am not too sure how many applications this will do, but I am on 2 and it is already feeling a little empty.

My face felt nice and smooth after applying this once and you could see that my skin had a slightly softer look to it instantly. I think you would need to try it a few times to see a real difference though. My favourite part was definitely peeling it off, that felt gooooood. Just like peeling PVA glue off your hands when you were younger in art class. Just me?

Not only did I try this out, but Lewis gave it a go too. As it is Sonic themed, I think it caught his attention. As much as I like the colour and the Sonic theme, I have found this is too much of a gimmick for me. There really isn’t enough product to justify the price in my opinion. It was nice and fun, but I probably wouldn’t buy again sadly.

Have you tried this mask? What did you think?

I LOVE cute geeky collabs like this! The colour is really pretty, I bet it looks really fun when it’s on your face. Peel off face masks are the best hahaha. Great memories of messing with school glue as a kid. XD

Is there anything else in this range?

I absolutely adore nerdy colabs especially with beauty products! But a friend of mine recently tried this out and it gave her a terrible allergic reaction and as my skin is pretty sensitive to I’ll probably give this one a miss although the big kid in me does love peel off maks haha xoxo
