I can’t remember the last time I painted my nails. I had them gelled at Christmas and thought I would give them a little rest, usually a day doesn’t go by where I don’t have polish on, so it has probably done them some good to have a little break. Spring is my favourite time for nail polish colours though, so as my nails are looking a lot healthier I thought I would try some new polishes – starting with Bronze Bae from Barry M.
Before I start, I just want to say how much I hate the word ‘bae’. I don’t even know why, it is just one of those words that absolutely grates on me. I won’t let that word affect my opinion of the nail polish though, I will just try not to mention it too much aha..
I have seen the Molten Metals collection floating around for a little while, but haven’t thought of picking one up until now. Each of the 4 shades available are lovely and all look super shimmery, it was slightly hard to just pick one.
Bronze Bae is a very light metallic shade. It has hints of Gold and hints of Bronze in and is a perfect sparkly shade for Spring. It looks a lot like a foil when it is applied and isn’t too in your face sparkly. I am not normally a huge fan of metallic nail shades, I tend to go for a Matte or a Pastel instead, but this just makes me think of the sun and I love it. ♥
I kept seeing this pop up on your Twitter and had to come over for a nose. 🙂
It inspired me to get a similar silver metal polish. We don't have Boots or Superdrug where I live but a local shop had similar colours. I love that the metallic polishes tend to have more staying power than regular colours.
Mine is usually chipped after a day but I'm going on a week now. Love the gold too!
Vikki 🙂
