Michael Kors Midnight Shimmer Perfume

As well as picking up these Fragrance Mists from Duty Free, I treated myself to a new perfume. Anyone notice a fragrance theme going on?! I could spend hours in Duty Free, but sometimes you don’t have much time at an airport and end up being whisked through quicker than Usain Bolt at the Olympics. I did have a few minutes to wander this time round though and fell in love with Michael Kors – Midnight Shimmer perfume.

I usually stick to a select few perfumes on a rotation, then pop in a new one every now and again. I think its hard when you find your favourite, nothing ever seems to smell as good.

The packaging of this is bold but simple. It isn’t one of those fancy bottles, don’t get me wrong I love those too, but it is very effective still. I love the glittery ombré effect at the bottom, it reminds me a bit of a starry night.

This perfume smells amazing, it has a slight musky floral tone to it. After a little while it fades to what I can only describe as a peachy vanilla scent – which is beauttttiful! This is the kind of scent that will work in every season too. It isn’t too breezy for winter or too heavy for summer…I’m in love.

I don’t normally look at Michael Kors when it comes to perfume, but I will definitely be investigating some more! This has quickly found its way into my favourites and I know I will be wearing it all the way through the rest of the year.
