I mentioned before how I hadn’t brought a new nail polish in a while and now just like all buses come along at once, I have treated myself to another one! Barry M are my go-to brand for nail polishes and I couldn’t resist Pomegranate when I noticed it sat on the shelf in Boots.
Pastel nail polishes are usually my preference, but when it gets to this time of year I tend to go for more berry shades. Which is probably why I fell in love with Pomegranate so much.
Pomegranate is a lovely berry colour without being too dark or red. The shade name is perfect as it is exactly the same shade as the inside of a Pomegranate…no flies on me there! I’m not too big a fan of dark nail polishes or even red for that matter. Like Goldilocks though, this polish is just right.
I love Barry M’s Gelly finish as it applies so glossy and even. This shade was pretty much opaque in 1 coat, but I did 2 anyway just for consistency. As always with Barry M, this shade is really good value for money!
The colour is perfect for fall, I am currently having on my nails the Essence gel nail polish in the shade 'Do you speak love' which is so similar to this one and I love it! I haven't tried any BarryM nail polish, in fact I haven't tried any products from BarryM before!
