models own treats

models own nail polish

I bought these nail varnishes a little while back, just before I went on holiday. A Models Own Bottleshop has opened up in my local shopping centre and I will be honest I have been avoiding it like the plague. I know that sounds a bit dramatic, but when it comes to nail varnish, once I start I just cannot stop buying them. I decided to have a look around one day and then obviously the inevitable happened and I ended up buying, I did manage to stop at 5 though so it could have been a whole lot worse!

The colours that I ended up choosing were (in order):

Colour Chrome – Indigo // HyperGel – Persian Pink // Mirrorball – Hot Stuff // HyperGel – Cornflower Gleam // Splash – Pink Paradise

Can you tell I had some kind of Pink and Blue theme going on ha. I chose these colours as I thought they would all work nicely together and lets face it I love all kinds of nail varnish so thought I would go for a mixture.

It’s amazing the different effects that you can create just by changing the base colour. Below I have had a play with the 3 varnishes and the different glittery polishes on top and you can see how different the effect is!

Pink Paradise gives the base colour a nice pink tint and the glitter flecks make me think of Frozen whilst Hot Stuff looks a lot bolder. Both have really good staying power too, I wore Hot Stuff on my toes whilst on holiday and it didn’t budge once!

I always find Models Own amazing value, for £5 the quality is great especially the HyperGel formula! I will definitely be going back for more. ♥

I just bought my first models own polishes as well and picked up hot stuff too. It looks so pretty and glad you swatches it cause I haven't used it yet. I might need to try the gel ones now.
