I am definitely going from one extreme to the other with makeup lately. I either sit indoors in full on glam mode or I have no makeup on at all, there is no in-between. It really depends on the mood I get up in, but I am trying to be easy with myself, so I’m okay with that. I have been a bit of a flop with my weekly makeup posts at the moment which is super annoying and I apologise! I am hoping to get back on it soon, as I find makeup such a welcome distraction to everything that is going one in the world right now.
As I haven’t done a review in a little while, I wanted to show you one of the newest eyeliners in my collection. This is by one of my all time favourite makeup brands – Urban Decay. When it comes to eyeshadows and eyeliners, Urban Decay have it in the bag for me. They are always my go-to, especially when it comes to eye products. They were one of the first makeup brands that I first discovered and I haven’t stopped loving them ever since. The eyeliner that I am swooning over today is called Electric Empire.
Electric Empire is a pretty metallic teal shade with glitter running throughout. I absolutely love the sparkly eyeliner selection that Urban Decay have and this one is no different. There are flecks of teal and blue glitter running through to create a lovely toned mermaid like shade.
This eyeliner glides on the eyes perfectly, the actual formula is super soft and it doesn’t drag at all. Urban Decay are famous for their 24/7 eyeliners and this is exactly the reason why. They are so pigmented, which shows on the first swish on the eye. They do not crumble or pull at all and are just my favourites to use. I always worry with glitter liners that they will feel a bit gritty, but you can’t feel the glitter at all in this one. Being so soft, you do need to be careful that you don’t push down too hard though as they can go blunt super quick and nobody likes trying to do a winged eye with no point.
Electric Empire is such a lovely shade. I can’t remember the last time I picked a green out for my eyes, but I do like to change it up every so often. Once applied, it really does stay put until you take it off again and it doesn’t lose any sparkle either – bonus!
As usual, I am super impressed with this offering from Urban Decay and I can guarantee it won’t be the last eyeliner I get from them. ❤
