Makeup Look • Think Pink

weekly makeup look think pink

As it is Valentines week, I thought I would go for something a little PINK for my makeup look. As you all know, I love the colour pink, so any excuse to use it, I will. You don’t know how tempted I am to go back to pink hair, but it really isn’t in the best condition at the moment, so I know it would backfire. A few months of me leaving it alone and I am hoping it will be good to go again. The grey does mean I can get away wearing any colour now though, so every cloud!

I wanted to go for something a little bolder this week, so grabbed one of the brightest shades I own and came up with this..

For this look I used the Jeffree Star x Morphe Palette* again. It has the most perfect pink shade, so when I thought of this look, I knew exactly what I was going to use. As the shade is so bold, I thought I would try and keep the rest of the look pretty simple. I used the shade ‘Back’ as a base, just blending above my eyelid. I then filled in the full lid with the shade ‘Self-Made’ – the perfect bold pink that I mentioned before. This shade is so pigmented, it really is beautiful. Once I was happy I drew on my eyeliner with a flick at the end and followed this line with the cutest Urban Decay Heavy Metal liner. Naturally that wasn’t enough pink for me, so I topped it off with a bold pink lip too.

I am really pleased with this look. If I am wearing a bold eye, I don’t normally tend to go for a bold lip too, but I feel like this one kind of works. I want to rock this eye all of the time now, the added glitter just makes it so sparkly! ❤
