Weekly Makeup Look

When I was younger, I wanted to wear glasses more than anything. When I would have my eyes tested and the optician told me that I didn’t need them, the disappointment was real. By that point I would have usually picked my frames out and everything. Fast forward a few years and I now have to wear glasses all the time. Now I am not saying that I hate it, but they can be an absolute pain sometimes. How the tables turn aha! Luckily I can wear contacts, so it isn’t really an issue, but during the week, I wear glasses pretty much all the time. When I have my glasses on, I do tend to change the way I do my makeup a little so thought I would show you what I do today. Plus I never really tend to wear my glasses on the blog!

Beauty flatly

For this look I used one of the prettiest eyeshadows ever – Urban Decay Solstice. This eyeshadow is part of the Moondust range which are some of the sparkliest eyeshadows around. I can’t believe that I have never done a review of this little beauty. I am so behind on my makeup reviews, I really need to get back on it soon. Solstice is one of those shimmery two-toned shadows. In one light it looks pink and in the other it has a green shimmer. It really is pretty. When applied you end up with a lovely nude pink base with turquoise sparkles. I like to do a bit of a cat eye when I am wearing my glasses, so I topped this off with my usual black curl.

This is pretty much how I wear my makeup most days, especially for work as it is quick and easy and if you know me, you know I have a little habit of staying in past my alarm ha! I topped the whole look off with Urban Decay’s Backtalk lipstick, which is probably one of my most used lipsticks ever. ❤
