Makeup Look It's Not Easy Being Green

For this week’s makeup look, I thought I would go for a colour that is a little bit different for me. GREEN. I like green, but I never seem to choose it for eye makeup. It usually just sits in the same unused pile that blue falls into for me. As green is one of the most striking colours in the Morphe X Jeffree Star Artistry Palette*, I thought I would give it a go. I seemed to be on a little copper/rose toned theme, so thought I would snap out of that and try something different. I will definitely pop a review of this palette up soon, as some of the shades are gorgeous!

I absolutely love the shade ‘Nate’ but thought it was a bit too bold for me to start off with. So thought I would bring it in subtly. I decided to do a little Khaki Green smokey eye and use ‘Nate’ at the bottom of my lash line, to give a little pop there. I used ‘Designer Label’ along the lid and then blended ‘Glam Rapids’, ‘Wake & Bake’, and ‘Drive-Thru’, starting with the lightest and finishing off with the darkest. I then used ‘Nate’ on my outer bottom lash line, blending ‘Drive-Thru’ from the inner corner. This was then topped this off with a flick of eyeliner and lots of mascara.

I’m really pleased with this look and love the shade ‘Nate’ even more now. I am definitely going to be using it again, I think it would look pretty cool used as an eyeliner or blended with the pink shades in the palette. There are so many looks that can be created here, I didn’t really know where to start. I have a feeling you will be seeing this palette in my makeup series an awful lot more too! ❤
