Wow December whizzed past in an absolute blur didn’t it?! I remember opening the first door of my Advent Calendar like it was just yesterday, but now here we are sat in January. I have loved the month of December ever since I was little and for me, the Christmas festivities have been my absolute highlight of this December too. Some other things did happen, but most of my highlights are Christmassy..
I finally got my hair to the most perfect grey shade. I think my time with the bleach has come to an end for a little while as my hair has finally hit snappy stage. I decided to try and get it to a colour that I would be happy with the dark roots and grey was the winner. Next step is fixing the damage that has been done.
We got Meowth a Christmas Jumper and she hated it for the first 30 seconds, but then ended up loving it. I think she realised how warm it was making her and decided it was the best idea ever.
Me and Lewis treated ourselves to the Marvel Funko Advent Calendar and it was so nice to open a new mini pop each day. My favourite was definitely Venom, but there were so many good ones in there.
We took our third Christmas Family photo. We made a little tradition as soon as we moved in together that we would take a festive photo each year to look back on. You wouldn’t believe how hard it was to hold 2 cats still for 5 seconds, we must have taken around 200 photos to just find 1 we liked. We got there in the end though!
We have been watching The Mandalorian and I just love it. I am totally into the Baby Yoda hype, so when Lewis asked me to draw him I couldn’t resist. I just can’t wait for Baby Yoda merch now!
The whole month of December has been filled with so much fun, it really has been just lovely. I am hoping this lovely feeling continues well into the New Year too. ❤
