I can’t believe I am sat here on the last day of 2019 already, looking back at the year just gone. Not only that, but the decade. I do find it hard though, as I struggle to remember what happened yesterday, let alone over the past 10 years. One thing I do know is that I have grown so much as a person, the girl who would shy away and not stand up for herself, has definitely got a bit of oomph. Don’t get me wrong, I am still super shy and hate confrontation, but I have definitely got more confidence and it feels good! There have been so many highs and lows over the past 10 years, some of the saddest lows and the happiest highs, but one thing that has always remained is that it has been filled with love and that is all I can ask for.
Back to 2019 and obviously our wedding was the complete highlight, if you had told me this time last year that I would be a married woman, I would have just laughed. Being engaged for 7 years, I didn’t even know when it was going to happen, but we both knew the time was right and here we are, all married and content. All that sneaking around does take its toll on you though and whilst thinking back, I did have to ask my mum if anything else had happened this year that was exciting, her answer ‘Dad put new doors up in the house’ so that’s great haha! I suppose I couldn’t really top a wedding though, although so many other lovely things have happened too. I went to Crete, I saw Pete Tong, I worked with some amazing brands, I continued with my healthy eating and just generally had a good time.
I feel so happy at the moment and have completely fallen in love with blogging again. I really hope this mood and rekindled love for the blog continues well into 2020. I have a feeling that it is going to be a great year. I even like the way 2020 looks written down, so it better not let me down anyway!
