Funko Pop • Ariel

Wooo, Bank Holiday weekend is so nearly here! I am so excited for that extra day of goodness, although I do keep forgetting, so lets just hope I don’t turn up to work on Monday! This Bank Holiday does always make me a little sad though, as it is the last one until Christmas and that feels agggggges away! I definitely think we should have a long weekend each month to break things up a little. That’s reason number 1 why I should be in charge. Another thing that has got me excited this month, apart from the Bank Holiday is my Pop in a Box arriving.

This month I opened Ariel from The Little Mermaid. Now, Ariel is hands down one of my favourite princesses. I mean, it’s probably quite obvious that I am a mermaid fan by now, but Ariel is just one of the best. I always wanted red hair when I was growing up, but funnily enough red is probably one of the only colours that I actually haven’t been. #nexthaircolour?

It is amazing to see how much Funko Pop’s have changed over the years. I have the original Ariel and she doesn’t look right against the newer ones at all now! This Ariel is just beautiful and one of my new favourites. I feel like they have got her spot on and I love the way she looks like she is floating on the stand. This Ariel is really well made and her paintwork is spot on. Funko Pops have definitely got better over the years too, which I am really pleased about as some of them had some seriously bad paint jobs.

Although I seem to have a little hatred for the live action Disney movies, The Little Mermaid is actually one that I wouldn’t mind seeing. I think there is so much they can do with the film and as long as they keep it magical, I don’t think I would mind. I may change my opinion when the trailers start coming out though!

I am so pleased with this Funko Pop and she is the perfect hair inso and addition to my collection! ❤

She’s adorable, I really love how they made her with the stand. One of the the things that put me off Funko was that they always did such a sloppy paint job on them so I’m glad to hear that they’re getting better xoxo

Oh yes, the paintwork has definitely improved over the years. You will definitely notice the difference. 🙂
