The brighter weather definitely brings out my love of perfume. I just love a good scent and I don’t know what it is about the sunshine that makes me want to smell them all. One of the latest fragrances to enter my collection is Because It’s You by Emporio Armani.
I first smelt ‘Because It’s You’ when I was on holiday one time and instantly fell in love. I love going into perfume shops abroad and having a nosey, there is something about them that draws me in. They always smell amazing and the layouts seem so much better. I never really shop for perfume here, but get me into another country and I am all over the fragrance shops aha!
This is the first Emporio Armani perfume that I have tried and I will definitely be keeping my eye out for more. My mum has always raved about Sí, so I was hoping I would love this one as much as she can’t get enough of that scent. The bottle itself is quite simple, but the lid makes it a bit more interesting. I have a thing for perfume bottles, especially when they are super pretty, but this one is just a bit too plain for my liking.
Because It’s You is just lovely, as soon as you spray, the notes of Raspberry and Vanilla hit you. I am not a huge fan of fruity perfumes, I always tend to edge more towards a floral scent. Luckily this isn’t too fruity though, it has a slight rose undertone to it which makes the scent more floral and musky. Incase you couldn’t tell, I just love this!
If you are into pretty fruity shades, then this one is definitely for you. The male version ‘Stronger With You’ is just as nice, I remember smelling that one at the same time and Lewis dropping lots of not-so-subtle hints.
