It feels like forever since I have done a Pop in a Box post. Last month was a bit of a nightmare and annoyingly I ended up with a pop I didn’t want again. I can’t even remember what it was, but I ended up giving it away feeling sad. Luckily a new month means a new pop and I am much happier with February’s offering. I really must get better at selecting Pop’s I actually want, I usually remember when it’s too late and just have to hope for the best once it is dispatched.
This month I opened the Gold Chrome Edition Loki. This is one of those Pop’s that I really wanted but I wouldn’t have bought myself. Don’t get me wrong, Loki is one of my favourite characters ever, but there are just so many other Funko Pop’s I want, I would always pick them up first. I am really pleased I opened him up though, he is a super cute addition to my collection. I have always had a bit of a soft spot for Loki and Tom Hiddleston isn’t too bad either lol. I even shed a little tear at *that bit* of Infinity War, sad times. Anyway…
It always amazes me how much detail they still manage to put on these Gold Pops, as with a lot of Funko’s the detail is in the colour, so it is good they have managed to still capture the character in true pop form.
We seem to have a little gold collection going on now too and he sits quite happily on the shelf with Groot and Iron Man. There is something about the gold ones that work really well and I think the full collection sat together would look pretty cool, so I best get saving… ❤
