I can’t believe that we are already here at the end of the year. 2018 has completely flown by, I probably say this every year but it really has. I really enjoyed looking back at posts last year and as I have had a few days off over Christmas, I thought it was the best time for me to sit and reflect on this blogging year gone by too.
I thought I would show you a mixture of posts that have been most popular in terms of views, as well as posts that I have enjoyed writing. Here are my favourites for this year…
January – 2018 Goals
My goal post seemed to go down pretty well last year, I can’t actually remember how I have got on with them though. Maybe I will do a little recap when I set my 2019 goals and see how well I have done.
February – Five Little Things
This was the start of my Five Little Things series. I absolutely love writing these posts, they help me refocus and find the positives even when I feel like nothing good is happening. These will definitely continue into 2019…
March – Meowth
I knew Meowth would probably be in here somewhere, look how ickle she looks there! You guys seem to love her updates as much as me! I haven’t actually introduced Misty to the blog yet, so watch the space as she will be getting her own little post sometime soon.
April – Monthly Wishlist
Another type of post that I really enjoy creating are the monthly wishlist’s. April was a popular one, I am guessing it is because of the cute little Baby Pegasus.
May – Turning 27
I loved writing this post, although thinking of 27 facts was super tricky! I got stuck after about 5. I am so glad I managed it though and I might try and think of more for another post.
June – Lately
I love creating makeup looks and I definitely want to start bringing them onto the blog more in 2019. I kinda miss this hair a little too.
July – Monthly Wishlist
Another month, another wishlist. I think this one was popular because of the cute little Jigglypuff plush. I still need him in my life, as well as the RuPaul Funko Pops, they are amazing!
August – Urban Decay Heat Lipstick
I love this lipstick shade. I have hardly bought any makeup this year, so it was nice to get something new and write a nice little review how I used to.
September – Ibiza
Sadly Ibiza wasn’t all it was cracked up to be for me. It was so pretty, but not how I thought it would be, you guys seemed to love this post though, which was such a relief.
October – Taking the rough with the smooth
I enjoyed writing this little catchup post, when I compared myself to how I was feeling last year, I am so, so much happier. I feel like this was the turning point for me finally realising my happiness.
November – Five Little Things #5
Ahhh another of the Five Little Things posts. I am glad that you guys enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them.
December – PurePlex Hair Repair System
This miracle has absolutely saved my hair and I am so glad I found it. I definitely found my go to hair product with this little gem.
I have loved reflecting on my blogging year gone by. I can’t wait to see what 2019 brings! ❤
What a great roundup! If I was more organized and less lazy I would attempt something like this. I also only think I actually have maybe 12 posts from this year so there’s that. Happy New Year to you!
