After the drama of last month’s Pop in a Box that I mentioned in my last Funko post, I was excited for this months Pop to arrive. When I opened it, I did check that my mum hadn’t actually got me this one as I would have had to relive the disappointment all over again. Luckily this Pop was on the Christmas safe list, so I’m allowed to keep it lol.
For November’s little treat, I opened the lovely Aragorn from The Lord of the Rings. Aragorn was one of my favourite characters from the film, in fact it’s safe to say I was in love with him a little bit. I was 10 when the first film came out (jeeeeeeeze I feel old now) and as each of the other films were released, my bedroom walls became more covered in posters of him and Legolas. The obsession was real guys, I loved them both.
This pop is super cute and makes a nice change to the Disney themed collection that I seem to be growing. The detail on him is really good and I love the fact that he is wearing the Evenstar necklace. I always wanted one of those when I was younger too, but it just never happened. Told you, I loved him and spent my younger years wanting to be Arwen when I grew up. Sadly that didn’t happen either, but I can always dream.
Funko seem to have really upped their game with detail lately, before it seemed like the more detail that was included, the worse the paint job, but the newer releases seem so much better which is nice to see!
Aragorn sits nicely next to the Treebeard I opened before and I definitely think more Lord of the Rings Pop’s are needed in my life. Especially Legolas or Arwen of course! ❤
