Five Little Things #3

I haven’t done a five little things post in months. This year seems to be absolutely flying by, I still can’t believe it’s August. Before I know it, I will be Christmas shopping and eating all of the mince pies! I feel like I have really got back into blogging lately, it’s amazing how something so simple like changing a theme can reignite a passion. I am so happy with how this site looks now and have so many new ideas! In the spirit of happiness, I thought I would share five little things that have also been making me happy lately..

1 – Flowers – I absolutely love flowers. I think they brighten up even the darkest of places, I really love the colourful ones that crop up at this time of year. Roses are my absolute favourite. My garden seems to be full of the most gorgeous pink variety at the moment. I just look at them and smile!

2 – The Nightmare Before Christmas 25th Anniversary Funko Pops! – When Funko announced this new collection a few days ago, I fell in love instantly. The Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my absolute favourite films and not only are the new pops amazing, but I just know that the mystery mini snow globes are going to be my new obsession!

3 – Gel Nails –  I treated myself to a gel nail kit and I don’t know why I have never done my nails this way before. I have found myself the sparkliest nail polish for my holiday and I cannot wait to try it. I always thought they were going to be harder to do at home than they actually are, so this has always put me off.

4 – Taking Meowth in the garden – As Meowth is part Bengal, we decided not to let her outside on her own. I am a bit of an overprotective mumma, but also I have read that Bengal’s shouldn’t go outside on their own anyway, so we bought her a little harness. It took a few attempts, but she absolutely loves it. I shout walkies and she comes running for it to be put on and will stay outside watching the birds. Lately, I have really enjoyed getting in from work, popping her harness on and just chilling outside with her and a cup of tea.

5 – Holiday Vibes – I am in full on holiday mode right now. We don’t actually go until Wednesday, but I am so looking forward to a break away. We’ve been through a bit of a stressful times these past few months, so time away if very much needed.  I will be Instagramming my adventures, so if you want to keep up to date make sure you follow.

I really enjoy writing these five little things posts and I hope you like reading them just as much. I’m starting to think they should become part of my regular schedule. ❤

For some reason, I really don’t like nail varnish – it makes me feel really uncomfortable idk. I think it’s the texture once it has dried. Since gel nails have a different texture, I really like them!

Oh my goodness, is your cat named Meowth? That is the most precious thing in the world 😭 I love Pokemon and would totally name my pets after my favourites if I hadn’t already planned to name them after my favourite foods 😂

Reading about your gel nails discovery, I had this recently too! Aren’t they just the best?! 😀

I’ve been trying peel off base coats lately so that I don’t have to go through the hassle of soaking the gel off. 😛

You’ll have to let me know which polishes you bought. I picked up all the glitter holographic Fairy Glo ones. They’re amazing for how much they cost and last ages. ^_^

I love TokiDoki Blind boxes. Did you have to spend a fortune to get the good ones? I always struggle with mine. I keep getting twins !
