How on earth are we in December already?! This year has been absolutely whizzing past, time really needs to slow down a little bit. It’s scary to think we are now only a few weeks away from 2018. December does mean one thing though, it’s Advent Calendar time. This year, I am very lucky to have 2 calendars, a Crabtree & Evelyn and a Body Shop calendar. Like last year, I will bulk together The Body Shop days, but the Crabtree and Evelyn doors I will post every other day.
Crabtree & Evelyn are a brand that I have featured on this blog several times before. I just love their creams and use them all throughout the year. My lovely mum usually gets them for me every Christmas to stock me up for the rest of the year and this year she got me this calendar, so it would be a little surprise behind each of the doors. Honestly, that woman is the absolute cutest!
I have never had a 12 day Advent Calendar before and after you lovely bunch helped me out on Twitter, I decided to open the doors every other day to make it last for the whole of December.
Now this means, that depending on how you are opening this calendar if you have it, I may be ahead, so if you don’t want to know what you are going to receive, *please don’t scroll down.*
Day 1 – Goatmilk & Oat Soothing Hand Therapy.
Now I normally go for a floral or fruity scent, so this made a nice little change. I find that it has quite a medicinal scent to it, I can’t quite put my finger on what it is. It isn’t unpleasant at all, it just has a slight herbal scent to it. As well as Goat’s Milk, this cream contains Vitamin E to help moisturise.
As I only opened this door today, I feel like I can’t comment too much on how well this cream works. Although, if it is anything like any of the other Crabtree & Evelyn products I have used before, it will be spot on. I honestly don’t use hand creams by any other brand.
I can’t wait to see what is behind each door and if I manage to stay on track, these posts will be up every other day.
