Makeup Look: Think Pink

I feel like I have lost my way when it has come to makeup the past few months. I have just felt so meh that I haven’t really wanted to play around and have just worn the same thing over an over. I think my job has played a huge part in how I have been feeling, but I’ve only gone and got myself a new one! I haven’t started yet, but even just handing my notice in has felt like a weight off my shoulders. I know it sounds silly, but I just feel so much better already. I have been playing around with makeup again, blogging more and even going out a bit more. These are such small things, but big things to me as I could feel myself shutting away and stopping things that I really enjoy.

I kinda went off the point there, but wanted you all to know what has been going on. I vowed that I would make a change on things that make me unhappy this year and just feel so proud of myself for making these changes. GO ME aha.

Now that I am feeling a little better, one of my favourite things to do is just play around with makeup. Every weekend I like to have a little makeup session and I am really enjoying falling in love with makeup again. As soon as I dyed my hair pink, I wanted to have a little pink experiment. You know me, as soon as I find a colour, I like to go a little overboard.

Lately, I have rediscovered my love for this Urban Decay palette too, it really is a hidden treasure. Annoyingly, I can’t remember its name though! I used the Junkshow pink eyeshadow as the main base and then lined my eyes with Noise eyeliner. I then popped a little bit of Tainted on the inner corner of my eyes and finished with Revlon Dramatic Definition mascara. I am so pleased with how this look turned out, pink but not too pink.

Hopefully, the more I experiment the more looks I will be sharing on here. I am so glad I have found my love of makeup again and even more glad that I am feeling like my happy little self again.
