I feel like I haven’t brought a new nail polish in ages! I am a bit of a hoarder and half of my collection has probably all glooped together and can be thrown away, but I just can’t face it. I did treat myself to a new shade recently though – Danny Boy, Blue!
I don’t know why, but I never normally go to Rimmel for nail polishes. No particular reason why, I just get distracted by other brands along the way. Something about this shade stuck out to me though, it is very similar to nails inc. ‘Baker Street’! I have a thing for blue nail polishes, especially if they are bright and bold like this one.
As you can see, this shade is a bright cobalt blue which applies exactly the same colour as the bottle. I hate it when you buy a colour and it applies a completely different shade, so this one is definitely in my good books!
The drying time for this is perfect, I know it says 60 seconds on the bottle, but this polish means it. It is the first time in ages that I haven’t actually smudged waiting for it to dry. The formula is quite watery so I needed to apply 3 coats, but as it dried so quickly I didn’t really mind!
I really like this shade and I will definitely be investing in more Rimmel polishes in the future!
