Urban Decay Vice Lipstick

As you all probably know by now, I am a sucker for a new lipstick. When I heard that Urban Decay were releasing 100 new lipsticks, I got a little on the excited side to say the least! I immediately went to have a look and ended up leaving with the sparkliest colour of them all – Big Bang!

The packaging on these lipsticks is just beautiful, although stupidly hard to take a photo of! It is so simple, but looks so classy all at the same time! Big Bang immediately jumped out at me from the start, after countless swatches of other shades, the sparkle, brightness and all round ‘wow factor’ kept drawing me back.

You can see from the bullet how amazing this shade is. I cannot explain how sparkly it is in real life, it is pure glitter perfection. I must admit, when I first swatched this, I was a bit unsure how the glitter would come across. I didn’t want it to have a tacky feel to it, but then who am I kidding..I NEVER find glitter tacky!

This lipstick is just absolute perfection, definitely not tacky at all. The ‘Hot Pink’ boldness and glitter payoff is just amazing, it gives the effect of a sparkly lipgloss without the stickiness. It does have a slight tacky feeling to it, but nowhere near the hair sticking to your lips feeling that glosses seem to have.

I applied this both directly and using a lip brush and none of the glitter fell out at all. I was a bit worried that it would lost its boldness when applied with a brush, but it was just as spangly. After trying this shade, I feel I need to invest in every Metallised shade going.

Sadly, my local Debenhams didn’t stock all 100 shades, they had about 50 which is still a pretty amazing selection. I left with my hand looking like a red and purple rainbow and a few new lipsticks to mentally add to my collection.

I try to steer clear from metallic/glittery lipsticks, but this one surprisingly looks very wearable. And the color really suits you!

Oh my that is a beautiful lip colour! I can't say that I have seen anything like this (before if not for a while!) and I would love to one day pick it up myself as a nice treat. ^_^

Great review sweetheart, and it looks gorgeous on you!
