MAC archie’s girls lipstick ‘ronnie red’

I have been trying to get my hands on MAC’s Archie’s Girls collection for ages now but as it seemed to be sold out everywhere, I kind of just resigned myself to the fact I wasn’t going to be getting anything. I have been working away lately which meant that I haven’t managed to check my local Debenhams in a few weeks to see if the Archie’s Girls collection had arrived there. I popped in today and there it was, in all of its glory, lots of pieces as to be expected were out of stock but I managed to get my hands on Ronnie Red! A raspberry red lipstick.

Ronnie Red is a matte finish lipstick, which can be quite drying but a bit of balm beforehand tends to sort this. The colour itself sits as a bright red with blue undertones, which gives it a nice raspberry tint. I found blotting after the first application helped this lipstick stay on for a good few hours. I usually shy away from bright reds, but I think I may have just found my perfect red!

Have you tried anything from the Archie’s Girls collection? ♥

    Hello Emily!
Just stopping by from the #Bbloggers blog hop, I'm now following you via GFC. I love MAC but haven't tried anything from the Archie's Girls collection yet. This colour really suits you though. I also find MAC's matte lipsticks to be quite dry on the lips. 🙂

If you wish to check out my blog the link is – labelledsm

    Peace & love,

      Thankyou for following me! 🙂
I find that with matte lipsticks too, so a balm is definitely needed first!
I will have a looksie at your blog now!
      🙂
